The Showcase: Local Author Series is a program of Malibu Library and the City of Malibu that features published authors who live and write in Malibu. Two events in 2019 will highlight four local authors who have written books on a wide range of subjects. Please join us for a panel discussion and book signing during the Western Malibu event on November 6 in the auditorium at Malibu High School.

November authors are Jo Giese (Never Sit If You Can Dance) and Lou Spirito (Gimme Shelter).

Child Abuse Listening Mediation (CALM)’s mission is to prevent childhood trauma, heal children and families, and build resilient communities throughout Santa Barbara County. The Auxiliary raises additional financial support and community awareness through projects and events, allowing the organization to grow and continue to serve the children and families that need it the most.
