Learn More About You’ll Never Walk Alone
Life can change on a dime. One day, Jo Giese was a passionate hiker; the next, she couldn’t walk.
A freak household accident and botched surgery left her with a dead Achilles tendon and a devastating question: accept a life indoors, or fight her way back to the trails she loved? For Giese, the choice was obvious. The path forward was anything but.
You’ll Never Walk Alone chronicles her fight to relearn how to walk, reclaim joy, and chase waterfalls across the world—against every medical prediction. With determination, community support, and a refusal to give up on the outdoors, she became a medical miracle.
This book offers:
A gripping account of trauma, grit, and recovery
A celebration of nature’s healing power
Emotional insights into perseverance, optimism, and finding joy again
Vivid stories of helicopter drops, remote waterfalls, and global treks
Hope for anyone facing the unthinkable
Equal parts adventure story and emotional reckoning, You’ll Never Walk Alone reminds us that gratitude, community, and courage can carry us through even the steepest climbs.
